We absolutely loved the Old Clark Inn! Andrea was very cordial and explained to us about the amenities. She told us where we could eat. We liked the kitchen area at the Inn because we got to eat our leftovers there. Coffee was set for us early on our 1st day, since we wanted to access Snowshoe Resort early for skiing. The Inn is about 22 miles from Snowshoe. It is a great location and a great place to stay! :)
Motorcycles friendly place. Andrea and Nelson are awesome. Their Inn is really nice, room was comfortable, breakfast ready when you were. They're in a beautiful town in the Appalachian. If you ride a motorcycle, this is the place to go. If you expect to go there and find a lively night life, then you're in the wrong place. Ride during the day and, relax at night.
Wonderful quiet little in, comfy rooms and very friendly service. Sorry we couldn't have stayed for another night.
Horrible experience. We booked one room on Airbnb, and arrived in the evening. The host had already gone back home. Don't get me wrong, he IS the manager of this inn. I called him but he insisted that no one could checkin without his presence. I begged him as my wife wasn't feeling well after some food allergy on the way. He even threatened to call the police if we don't leave. We were left out in the freezing night. I've been using Airbnb for 3 years and this is the first time ever blocked out by a host. Thanks NELSON, you re-defined the word Host.
